It reads "Great ASDA value is less than 2 miles away. Take your next left at Launceston Road .Petrol Station open 24 hours"
It was intended to attract holiday makers on long journeys to the Fuel, Parking, Cafe, Provisions, etc at the new ASDA.
The advert had great commercial value since no legal advert would get planning permission in open countrysidel
The Councillors kept it there for 3 summer months and erected it again the following summer.
